La Luc Trail

Photos of the hike Molly and I took when I went to Albuquerque in early October.  I wanted to do this trail on my previous trip and decided to do it.   We climbed from about 7 to 10 thousand feet.. and 9000 feet I was not getting enough oxygen and could hardly climb at all.  I leaned on Molly the last 1000 feet which took several hours.  We rode the tram down.. the next day I was fine.

This is how the trail looked soon after we left from the lower Tram station. A little while later. Still easy going. 2.6 miles later we got to this sign. I was still feeling pretty good and we decided to embark up. A view with about fifteen hundred feet to climb We reached a wooded section of the trail. Nice and cool. A nice view
One of the many other hikers we met. Higher and rocky.. starting to need more air. Molly and Steve near the top. You can see the tram wires in the background.. we will ride the tram down. The sun was setting as we got to the top
